First Impressions to Lasting Connections: Mastering Onboarding & Offboarding
Shannon Duckett, Executive Director of Human Resources at The St. Paul’s Schools
A strong culture isn’t built on first impressions—it’s built on lasting ones. For HR professionals, onboarding and offboarding are pivotal moments that define the employee experience and shape organizational culture. Done well, they build trust, reinforce values, and strengthen community. Done poorly, they can undermine engagement and morale.
