Stop Chasing Volunteers. Start Leading a Movement.
Guest Speaker: Nicole R. Smith, Executive Director of AL!VE
Instead of just looking for hands to help, it's time to build a community that feels like home.
Join us for an episode of Face to Face and learn how to Stop Chasing Volunteers. Start Leading a Movement. This session explores how to reimagine leadership as the steady pulse that makes your community thrive and keeps your mission sustainable.
Featuring Nicole R. Smith, Executive Director of AL!VE, we are moving beyond being a "program cheerleader" to becoming the visionary heart of your organization—creating a foundation where every volunteer feels seen, valued, and ready to stay.
You’ll Learn How To:
Simplify the Welcome: Enhance the onboarding journey so new volunteers are warmly embraced instead of lost in the shuffle.
Flip the Recruitment Script: Learn how a well-tended internal garden is what truly helps your community bloom.
Nurture the People-Power Connection: Navigate the overlap between "people operations" and volunteer leadership to create a more harmonious, unified culture.
Move Beyond the Pom-Poms: Step into your role as a purposeful leader who advocates for the professional soul of your program.
