Steel Backbone, Soft Heart: Tapping Into Empathic Leadership
Cheryl DeSantis, Chief People Officer at National Veterinary Associates
Business can sometimes feel like survival of the fittest. In the past, many people adopted a mentality that you must be detached and, in a way, remove any and all emotions in order to lead successfully. While we have made significant progress in how we view leadership, our world is still opening up to a new paradigm: leading with the heart.
We invited Cheryl DeSantis, Author and Chief People Officer at National Veterinary Associates, to share the essential principles of heart-centered leadership.
In this HR at the Table webinar, we discussed:
The role of the head and the heart in successful leaders
Key elements of heart-centered leadership
Prioritizing people over profit and production
Unlocking employee talent and maximizing success
