The Inc 5000 list shows an inside look at the most successful companies in a competitive, dynamic sector: independent businesses. Some of America’s most well-known household names, including Under Armour, Microsoft, Patagonia, and more, gained their first real exposure on this list. 

For the 2023 rankings, Inc evaluated a pool of applicants based on revenue growth from 2019 to 2022 to identify the top-performing companies. In order to qualify for the list, organizations must be U.S. based, privately held, for-profit, and completely independent.
